ERASMUS+
Erasmus+, acronym of European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students, is a EU students’ mobility program. It was born in 1987. The Program enables students to spend up to a year of their university courses in a university in another European country, as a part of the degree. The name of the Programme is inspired by Erasmus of Rotterdam, a Dutch humanist and theologian (XV century). Erasmus travelled across Europe and studied its different cultures. Since 2014, Erasmus+ is the new programme combining all the EU’s current schemes for education, training, youth and sport.
ESSENIA and ERASMUS+
the promotion of transnational mobility within EU represents one of the main activities of Essenia. We strongly believe in the added value of mobility experiences (both traineeships, education, sharing of good practices): they are a boost for personal and professional growth. They are already many years that, first with Leonardo Da Vinci Programme and now with Erasmus+ Programme, we promote traineeship and education paths for free, incoming and outgoing. These experiences may take place in enterprises, public and private bodies, in all professional sectors. Target groups of mobility are: students, recently graduated, teachers, staff working in vocational education and training, schools, and all of whom related with education and employment.
We mostly operate within KA1 – Learning Mobility of Individuals (please go to link for more information) and KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices (please go to link for more information). Out of project-proposals as Applicant, we also offer support to project planning and management for schools and public/private bodies, guaranteeing high quality standards, thanks to consolidated experience, professional team and solid partnerships across Europe. We have been awarded the “VET MOBILITY CHARTER” (n.2015-1-IT01-KA109-004902) by the Italian National Agency Erasmus+ INAPP for the quality of our mobility services, in all mobility-related aspects: Company identification
